The Challenge

The Windermere Foundation is funded by a percentage of every home sold by Windermere Real Estate agents.  Few people know about the good work of the Foundation or the fact that it is funded by Windermere agents’ contributions.  Windermere wanted to do good while letting consumers know that all realty companies are not equal.  Doing business with Windermere funds great community works at no cost to the consumer.

The Solution

In an effort to build awareness of the Windermere Foundation, Entercom developed the campaign Building Better Communities, One Home Sale at a Time.  The campaign showcased the Windermere Foundation’s mission to serve and support low income and homeless families in their communities.

The campaign messaging featured Windermere agents and ways in which they fund the foundation and give of their time.  In addition, the campaign introduced a new endeavor – building a playground at the High Point Community in West Seattle on September 23, 2011.  Windermere partnered with KaBOOM!, the High Point Open Space Association and Neighborhood House to design and build a new state-of-the-art-playground for the children in the High Point Community.

The Results

A dramatic increase in Windermere Foundation awareness. A similarly measured increase in awareness that Windermere Real Estate does good in their communities.
